Interstate-10 in Louisiana may have a brand new name by football season if Senate Bill 134 passes. I-10’s name would be “Who Dat Nation Highway” and the new name would run the entire length of Louisiana from Texas to Mississippi.
State Senator Wesley Bishop, D-New Orleans authored the bill. If the bill passes, it calls for new signage all along the interstate. The changes would have to be implemented by August 1, 2019.
And while this would make an awesome April Fool’s Day joke like the stories circulating about LSU rolling out purple turf in Tiger Stadium, this one is real.
