Another Tiger is headed to the NBA, this time to Boston.
Jordan Mickey was drafted by the Boston Celtics in the second round with the 33rd overall pick.
The sophomore star averaged 15.4 points and 9.9 boards a game in the 2014-15 season.
The Celtics snagged the power forward after starting the night getting Terry Rozier with the 17th pick and also picked up Georgia State’s RJ Hunter with the 28th pick that came from the Doc Rivers deal.
Mickey, a first team All SEC member, has been considered by NBA scouts to have improved vastly from his freshman season.
