Trey Fite Commits to Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns

Posted by clintdomingue on July 5, 2021 in Blogs, Latest News, Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns

Just a day after the Fourth of July, the Louisiana Ragin Cajuns had some fireworks of their own on the recruiting trail come courtesy of a commitment by Trey Fite.

Fite, an edge rusher out of Tatum, Texas, is currently rated as a three-star prospect by 247 Sports. He chose the Cajuns over Arkansas, Houston, Kansas State among others.

This put the Cajuns at seven hard commits for this recruiting class, six of which come from the Lone Star State.

Fite had recently visited the Razorbacks program, but it looks like he was more sold on the body of work that Billy Napier has put together since becoming the head coach for the Cajuns.

As a junior, Fite had 63 total tackles, 14 for loss, six sacks, three pass breakups, two fumble recoveries, and a forced fumble.
