The New Orleans Saints are making more moves to free up cap space.
Akiem Hicks has been traded to the New England Patriots for Michael Hoomanawanui, according to the NFL Network.
Hicks, who was a third-round draft pick in 2012, was benched mid-game during the loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and only played in certain packages during the game against the Panthers.
Hoomanawanui has not caught a reception through three games of the 2015 season.
