Andrew Stevenson drafted 52nd by Washington Nationals

The LSU Tigers have another player drafted by an MLB team.

Star centerfielder Andrew Stevenson has been drafted by the Washington Nationals in the second round of the 2015 First Year Draft.

The former St. Thomas More product has become a human highlight reel with spectacular defensive plays, most notably a diving catch in the regional final against UNC Wilmington and had enough time to throw it to second for the double play.

Stevenson has also been fantastic with the bat hitting .356 in the 2015 season and had one home run, 21 runs batted in and 16 extra base hits.
