Brees, Bell, Klein among two dozen players entering free agency for Saints

NEW ORLEANS — With Sunday’s stunning loss to the Minnesota Vikings, the New Orleans Saints now turn their attention to free agency. The Saints will have plenty of decisions to make as a total of 18 players are set to become unrestricted free agents, and 6 more are restricted free agents. 

Here is list of players heading to free agency along with their 2019 season stats.

Unrestricted Free Agents

QB Drew Brees: 11 games, 2,979 yards, 74.3 pct., 27 TD, 4 INT

QB Teddy Bridgewater: 9 games, 1,384 yards, 67.9 pct., 9 TD, 2 INT

RB Dwayne Washington: 16 games, 8 carries-60 yards

FB Zach Line: 12 games, 7 carries-20 yards, 6 receptions-36 yards

WR Ted Ginn Jr.: 16 games, 30 receptions, 421 yards, 2 TD

OT Andrus Peat: 10 games, 10 starts, 54 percent of offensive snaps

OT Patrick Omameh: 14 games, 1 start, 15 percent of offensive snaps

DT David Onyemata: 15 games, 32 tackles, 3 sacks

DE Noah Spence: No stats with N.O.

LB A.J. Klein: 15 games, 67 tackles, 2.5 sacks

LB Stephone Anthony: 1 game, 1 tackle

LB Josh Martin: No stats

LB Manti Te’o: 3 games, 5 tackles

CB Eli Apple: 15 games, 58 tackles, 4 pass deflections

CB P.J. Williams: 14 games, 42 tackles, 4 pass deflections

CB Johnson Bademosi: 6 games with N.O., 0 tackles

S Vonn Bell:  13 games, 86 tackles, 5 pass deflections, 2 forced fumbles, 5 fumble recoveries

S D.J. Swearinger: 1 game with N.O., 1 tackle, 1 pass deflection
