Bob Marlin’s team will travel to Orlando, Florida to match up with Tennessee in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Thursday afternoon.

Louisiana won the Sun Belt Tournament last week after taking down Georgia Southern, Texas State, and South Alabama to win their third conference championship under Marlin.

Their opponent, the Volunteers of Tennessee, went 23-10 in the regular season, falling to Missouri in the SEC tournament on Friday.

The Vols had a strong season but will be without their starting guard Zakai Ziegler, who tore his ACL and will miss the remainder of the season.

The game will be played on Thursday in Orlando, but the tip-off time is unknown.
