Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns Women’s Basketball team’s game at Coastal Carolina has been canceled due to COVID-19 concerns with the Chanticleers’ program.
The Sun Belt Conference matchup was going to be played at Conway, South Carolina on Saturday, January 22nd, before the cancelation.
The new COVID-19 policy that was announced by the Sun Belt office calls for a minimum threshold of seven student-athletes and one coach in order to play. Since Coastal Carolina does not meet that threshold, the new policy of games being canceled and not rescheduled has been invoked.
The women’s next scheduled game won’t be until January 29th when they host ULM in the Cajundome.
