The Ragin Cajuns have done well with getting people in the league over the last few years.

So far, 2022 is no exception, as Max Mitchell and Percy Butler both were drafted in today’s fourth round of the NFL Draft.

Mitchell was selected 111th overall to the New York Jets, while Butler was selected two picks later at 113th by the Washington Commanders.

Mitchell was named an All-American by eight different outlets a year ago, including PFF, The Athletic, AP, and more. He started all four years at Louisiana.

Butler was a defensive staple for Billy Napier in the secondary, making play after play and constantly disrupting opposing offenses.

Louisiana could see a few more players drafted today, as Chauncey Manac and Tayland Humphrey remain in the conversation. We’ll updated as more news becomes available. See
