LSU Men’s Basketball 2021-22 SEC Schedule Released

BATON ROUGE – LSU found out their SEC schedule on Thursday. LSU was 11-6 in 2021 to finish third in the SEC and will open league play on Dec. 29 game at Auburn.

The Tigers will play 17 home games, and including 10 games against the seven other schools that advanced to post-season tournament play, including back-to-back home games against Kentucky and Tennessee.

Fifth year Head Coach Will Wade will face Kentucky on Jan. 4 for the SEC home opener.

Kentucky and Tennessee will join the usual trio of Alabama, Arkansas and Texas A&M as the teams LSU will play both home-and-away during the upcoming season.

In addition to the first two games at home in league play against Kentucky and Tennessee (Jan. 8th), LSU’s other home dates are against Arkansas (Jan. 15), Texas A&M (Jan. 26), Ole Miss (Feb. 1), Mississippi State (Feb. 12), Georgia (Feb. 16), Missouri (Feb. 26) and Alabama (March 5).

The Southeastern Conference men’s basketball tournament will take a one-year trip from Nashville and will be held in Tampa, March 9-13, at the Amalie Arena.
