LSU offensive lineman Jevonte Domond was arrested Monday on a felony domestic abuse charge.
Domond has been accused of “felony domestic abuse battery with strangulation” and was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Jail by the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s office on Monday afternoon.
Domond, who transferred to LSU last summer and played in only one game last season, has been suspended from the team.
LSU Coach Les Miles has stated that a crime such as this is “something that we can not condone and behavior we will not tolerate.”
