Apparently, the Pelicans want to practice in the same facility as the New Orleans Saints.
The New Orleans Pelicans are looking into a location for a remote training location, with the Greenbrier and Los Angeles being options in the future.
Pelicans head coach Alvin Gentry and general manager Dell Demps were seen touring the Greenbrier and met with Pelicans owner Tom Benson earlier in the week about the club’s other options.
The only problem is that the Greenbrier currently does not have a basketball facility. The closest basketball court is in Athens, West Virginia.
The Pelicans have held training camps in the past at the team’s practice facility in Metarie.
