Report: Kobe Bryant Killed in Helicopter Crash

Former Los Angeles Laker Kobe Bryant was killed in a helicopter crash in Calabasas on Sunday morning, as reported by TMZ.

Multiple outlets have confirmed Bryant’s death, including ESPN and Los Angeles Times

Kobe Bryant is among those dead in a helicopter crash outside Los Angeles, a source confirms to ESPN.

According to Los Angeles Times and a watch commander for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the crash happened before 10 a.m.

Bryant was among nine people that were killed in the helicopter crash.

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnaroski later reported that Bryant’s daughter, Gianna, was also aboard the helicopter.

Sources: Kobe Bryant was on his way to a travel basketball game with his daughter Gianna when the helicopter crashed. Those aboard the helicopter also included another player and parent.

The 20-year NBA veteran spent his entire NBA career with the Los Angeles Lakers. Bryant was 41 years old.
