The St. Landry Barbecue Festival is this weekend, June 9th – 11th. Live music, a petting zoo, carnival rides, and a barbecue cookoff will be there. There will be multiple vendors as well.
The live music begins at 6 pm, with CJ Vedell & the Zydeco Grapplers. The music continues all weekend with Leon Chavis & Zydeco Flames, The Chee Weez, Horace Trahan, Kevin Naquin, Alex Touchet, Hotline Entertainment, Rusty Metoyer, Keith Frank, Gerald Gruenig, Chubby Carrier, and Lil Nate and the Zydeco Big Timers.
The St. Landry Barbecue Festival will be at the Yambilee Grounds, 1939 W. Landry St., Opelousas.
